Weekly Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons

Many seasons in one day - first a bright sunny day, then wind and cloud. Finally pouring rain and a lot more wind. Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands turns on the "Changing Seasons".

Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands turns on the “Changing Seasons”.

The beautiful Loch Tay in Scotland provided a wonderful challenge for two cyclists. All types of seasons were on the menu for the day! Hail, rain, strong wind (ever had to pedal hard to go down a steep hill? :-) ) and intermittent sunshine.

Definitely a day of “Changing Seasons”!

  6. Thank you so very much for the pingback!
I think you chose an ideal pic for the photo challenge…the UK is the one place i MUST see before I check out of this life…I’ve been an anglophile for decades and look forward to seeing more of it through your blog! :)

  7. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my photo! It was taken on an ‘interesting’ day – we cycled through some of the most awful weather (and had some fun with a group of hardy hikers who were also braving the elements and thoroughly enjoying themselves :-) ).

We figured we could truly say we had earned our cycling stripes for the Highland area (which is one of the most spectacular places I have seen in all my travels). We cycled for 5 weeks and that was the most challenging and yet the most enjoyable day!

The UK is a lovely place to visit, I am sure you will love it!
